What Are the Market Hours?

The German Christmas Market is a one-day event, open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Our Opening Ceremony begins promptly at 11:00 a.m., so we encourage you to arrive early and help us kick off this special celebration. For a full schedule of activities, performances, and other happenings throughout the day, visit our Special Events page.

Shopping

With 100+ vendors, you’ll find a wide variety of unique gifts, food, crafts, and holiday treasures.

Most vendors will accept electronic payments such as credit/debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and more. However, payment methods vary by vendor, and some vendors may be cash only. We therefore recommend bringing some cash with you just in case!

Our vendors will do their best to bring enough products to last throughout the day, but popular items may sell out. If there is something special you have an eye on, we recommend coming early for the best selection.

And the good news? The German Christmas Market is an annual celebration! So if you miss something this year, you’ll have another chance to find it next year.

Are Dogs Allowed?

Yes!

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the German Christmas Market as long as they are always kept on a leash. Please be mindful of other guests, vendors, and fellow four-legged visitors so everyone can enjoy the market safely.

Will There Be a Santa?

Yes! Santa will be joining us at the market! Bring the whole family, say hello to Santa, and make some special holiday memories. Be sure to check our Special Events page for Santa’s scheduled appearance.

Will There Be a Krampus?

Absolutely! Krampus is a traditional Christmas figure from the Alpine regions of Europe, particularly Austria and Bavaria. In German and Austrian folklore, Krampus is said to accompany Saint Nicholas, rewarding good children while frightening or punishing the naughty ones. Traditionally depicted with horns, shaggy hair, and a beast-like appearance, Krampus is known for roaming Christmas markets and ringing chains and bells.

At our market, you can meet our Krampus at one specific spot and take photos! Don’t worry, our Krampus is very friendly and is here to share this fascinating piece of European Christmas folklore and make the experience memorable.

Parents’ note: A Krampus can look pretty frightening! If your little ones aren’t fans of monsters, you may want to prepare them before meeting him.
