Step into the delicious world of Das Brotkörbchen, where the aroma of freshly baked bread meets a little Christmas magic!

We are a German micro bakery bringing the authentic flavors of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and South Tyrol to New Mexico. We believe great bread starts with great ingredients, which is why we bake with carefully selected, wholesome ingredients and traditional European recipes.

From hearty rye and spelt breads to fragrant loaves made with Einkorn, Emmer, Kamut, millet, oats, and barley, our offerings celebrate the wonderful variety of European baking. And, of course, what would a German bakery be without pretzels, rolls, and the occasional sweet temptation?

As a certified New Mexico Cottage Food Operation, we bake three days a week, with a rotating menu that keeps things fresh, delicious, and occasionally delightfully surprising. There’s always something new to discover and hopefully something that makes you say, “Noch ein Stück, bitte!” (“One more piece, please!”)
