Hi! My name is Kate, and I am a local artisan from ABQ! I specialize in origami jewelry and hanging origami decorations, bringing a beautiful paper folding art form to each of you! Kate’s Curiosities is primarily centered around the traditional paper crane, a widely recognized symbol of peace, hope, and healing, particularly in Japanese culture. I have been folding origami for about 16 years now – ever since I can remember (and have been perfecting my jewelry art since 2020)! The inspirations for my designs stem from interactions between nature, colors, and shapes.
