I started making macrame around 2017 after my dad taught me how to make a traditional plant hanger when I was in desperate need of a hands-on hobby. My mom was actually the first one to learn and taught my dad some macrame in the 70s. I love the calming practice of tying knots, it relaxes me and brings me so much joy to try new projects. What started as a hobby turned into a few commissions for friends, then friends of friends. It wasn’t until moving from Texas to New Mexico in 2023 when I thought to make it a proper small business. I did a couple of holiday markets, and it all spiraled from there. I create modern and bold macrame wall art, many styles of plant hangers, and functional home goods – like hat hangers, water bottle slings, and blanket straps – as well as small keychain and bag accessories. I love playing with punchy, unique color combos and I find inspiration in the environment around me, music, and favorite shows or movies. You can always expect to find a large range of colors and styles in my booth. In addition to my usual plant hangers, art, and accessories, you’ll find some holiday themed items like ornaments and Christmas trees as well!
