Krampus / Santa

In Austrian tradition, Krampus is a fearsome half-goat, half-demon figure who represents the punishing side of the winter season. He shows up alongside Saint Nicholas, but where Nicholas rewards good children, Krampus scares the naughty ones. He symbolizes consequences, darker impulses, and the old European idea of balancing kindness with fear.
