I’m Madeleine Sharp, an Albuquerque-based artist and designer with a BFA in Communication Design and a minor in Japanese from Miami University. After growing up here in Albuquerque, I’m excited to be back home creating art inspired by the strange, beautiful, and unexpected things I notice in the world around me.

My work spans relief printing, pen & ink illustration, and an ever-growing collection of little oddities made to bring home, gift, collect, and enjoy.

I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my work at the 2026 Printers Planet Festival, the 2026 Albuquerque Aki Matsuri, and the 2025 Albuquerque German Christkindlmarkt. Every market has reminded me why I love making art: there’s something special about seeing people connect with a handmade piece and carry a little bit of it home with them.
